Obsolescence is a national-security problem. When a radiation-hardened part or a legacy ASIC leaves production, a bomber, a satellite, or a submarine can be one failed chip away from stand-down. Blackwatch’s longstanding collaboration with the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) exists to keep those systems in the fight.

Our microelectronics practice covers sustainment of legacy components, trusted foundry interfaces, radiation-hardened design, and supply-chain risk management with anti-tamper measures. The work is unglamorous by design: it is how America holds the advantage in platforms that will fly, sail, and orbit for decades.
